These Terms govern your use of postmarkedpress.com and the Postmarked Press subscription service, operated by Daffodil Ventures LLC, a Washington limited liability company doing business as Postmarked Press (“we,” “us,” or “Postmarked Press”). By purchasing a subscription or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
The Service is for adults 18 or older. The content delivered includes adult romance with intimate situations and mature themes. By purchasing or receiving a subscription, you confirm you are at least 18 years old and that receipt of this content is lawful in your jurisdiction. Gift recipients must also be 18 or older.
To purchase or manage a subscription, you provide a valid email address. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude applicable sales tax.
Your subscription will automatically renew at $14.00/month or $129.00/year (or the then-current price) until you cancel. We disclose this at checkout and you affirmatively consent to it before purchase. After your first purchase, you will receive an email acknowledgment summarizing the auto-renewal terms, the price, the renewal frequency, and how to cancel. We will notify you by email before any material change to the auto-renewal terms or price, with reasonable advance notice.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us and Stripe to charge the applicable fees. Failed charges may be retried; repeated failures may result in suspension or cancellation of your subscription.
You can cancel at any time through the subscriber portal (link in every email we send) or by emailing letters@postmarkedpress.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle; the letter for that cycle will still be mailed. Gift subscriptions are non-cancellable once purchased but do not auto-renew.
Each subscription includes two physical mailings per month, mailed on the 1st and the 15th, each hand-assembled and containing a letter in the ongoing narrative (approximately 2 printed pages per mailing) plus occasional inserts (such as printed photographs or ephemera). Content is original fiction published by Postmarked Press.
We ship via USPS First-Class Mail to addresses in the United States. Shipments typically arrive within 3–7 business days of dispatch, though USPS delivery times are not guaranteed.
Address changes: You may update your shipping address through the subscriber portal at any time. Address changes must be submitted at least 5 days before the next mail day (the 1st or the 15th) to take effect for that mailing. Later changes apply to the following mailing. We are not responsible for misdelivered mail due to incorrect or outdated addresses on file.
Lost or damaged mail: if a letter doesn’t arrive within 14 days of expected delivery, or arrives damaged, email letters@postmarkedpress.com and we’ll replace one letter per subscription per calendar year at no cost. Additional replacements at our discretion.
All text, photographs, artwork, design, and other materials in our mailings and on the Site (the “Content”) are owned by Daffodil Ventures LLC and protected by U.S. and international copyright and trademark law.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to read and enjoy the Content for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, resell, publicly share, or create derivative works from the Content, and you may not use it to train machine learning models, without our prior written permission.
The Content is fiction. Any resemblance to actual persons or events is coincidental. “Postmarked Press” and “J.T. Gray” are trademarks of Daffodil Ventures LLC.
You agree not to use the Service for unlawful purposes, to harass or abuse us or other subscribers, to interfere with the operation of the Service, to provide false information at signup, or to attempt unauthorized access to our systems. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees. We can’t control USPS performance.
Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) $100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limitations; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Daffodil Ventures LLC and its officers, members, and agents from any claim or expense arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any third party’s rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
Before filing any claim, both parties will attempt informal resolution by contacting letters@postmarkedpress.com and allowing 30 days for response. If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington. Small-claims court is always available as an alternative.
We may update these Terms. For material changes affecting existing subscribers, we will notify you by email or Site notice before the changes take effect. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or fraud. You may terminate at any time by cancelling your subscription (Section 4). Sections that by their nature survive termination — intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law — remain in effect.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and your order confirmation, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to an affiliate or in connection with a business transfer. We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control (postal disruptions, natural disasters, etc.). You consent to receiving communications from us electronically.
